fring developers have just announced that their Android application has been updated with new features and improvements, which are meant to enhance users’ overall experience.

The most obvious changes are related to the interface, which has been improved. It appears that devs included some interface design fixes alongside UX/UI enhancements.

There’s also a new feature for texts, calls and video calls, which is called Storyline. Last but not least, the latest update for fring includes lots of bug fixes, which have yet to be detailed by developers.

Keep in mind that a minimum SIP charge now applies to use the fring network to access other non-fring SIP services.

The new fring 4.1.0.31 application is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
