Those who still cling on foursquare to get in touch with their friends will be happy to know that the BlackBerry application has been recently updated.

According to CrackBerry, the latest version of Foursquare for BlackBerry has been improved with various UI changes, as well as GPS fixes.

Other general bug fixes have been included in this update as well, though no additional details have been provided yet.

With the latest version of foursquare, users will be able to share and record the places they visit, search for the best places to go, get recommendations and deals, as well as discover insider tips and lists from local experts, brands, and celebs.

Foursquare 5.5.5 is now available as a free download via BlackBerry World, formerly known as App World, and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 4.5.0 and higher. Check it out here.
