14 DAY TRIAL // iMDB’s rival on Google Play store, Flixster has just been updated with several improvements and bug fixes. The latest version brings better movie and actor search for devices powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform.
In addition, developers also enhanced theater search distance accuracy and added lots of minor improvements and fixes. The following bug fixes have been included in this update as well:
- Fixed movie playback issue experienced on some Motorola Razr phones; - Fixed closed captions drift affecting playback for certain movies.
Keep in mind that for a limited time, users who create a free UltraViolet account will get a complementary movie for instant streaming or download. Sadly, the offer is only available in the US.
Flixster 4.6 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.5 and later. Check it out here.
