Yahoo has just released a new version of Flickr for Android devices, but those who already have it installed on their smartphones will be automatically prompted to update to the latest iteration.

The official changelog of the new Flickr 2.1.5 for Android is ridiculously small, so don’t expect any new features or major improvements.

According to developers, the latest update is meant to fix some of the issues reported by users, or discovered by its engineers.

Aside from these bug fixes, no other changes have been confirmed by Yahoo, but we expect more consistent updates in the not-so-distant future.

You can now download Flickr for Android 2.1.5 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
