Sony Mobile is getting ready for the release of a new software update for the owners of Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra devices out there, and it has already received certification for it.

The new software release emerged over at the PTCRB with build number 14.2.A.1.124 attached and is expected to bring along various fixes, XperiaBlog notes.

The upcoming update will arrive on all Xperia Z1 (C6902, C6903, C6943, C6906) and Xperia Z Ultra (C6802, C6833, C6843, C6806) smartphones out there.
