Mozilla has recently released a new version of its popular mobile browser, Firefox. The application is already available for download via Google Play Store, and brings lots of new features and improvements.

Among the most important seems to be the fact that developers have improved UI for Welcome Screen, Reader View controls, Synced Tabs and panel layout.

In addition, Mozilla implemented the “Add to Firefox” feature, as well as support for Android 5.0 Lollipop theme. Also, with the new “Send to device” option, users will be able to send tabs to connected devices.

The latest version of Firefox allows users to add a website to their Reading List with the “Add to Reading List” button. Furthermore, Mozilla added Ruby annotation support and Azerbaijani language localization.

According to developers, page load times have been improved by speculative connection warmup. Still, there's also one known issue that hasn't been addressed yet. It looks like responsive images do not update when the enclosing viewport changes.

You can now download Firefox for Android 38 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up. Keep in mind that some features require Android 4.0 and higher.
