South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to bring to the market a smartphone powered by Mozilla’s Firefox OS, and the device has already made an appearance at the FCC.

Spotted at the feds as LG D300g, the new mobile phone will land on the market with Wi-Fi connectivity inside, support for 850/1900MHz frequencies, and a built-in GPS receiver.

While no other details on the smartphone have been provided as of now, PhoneArena suggests that it will feature a 4.3-inch touchscreen display.

This will put it on the same line with other Firefox OS-powered devices that were announced before.

LG D300g is also said to have received Wi-Fi certification earlier this month, which suggests that it might not be too long before it is officially unveiled. Stay tuned for more on this.
