Owners of Android-based devices can now download and install a new version of the Firefox Browser, namely version 23.

The application has been available in a beta flavor for the past several weeks, but it has finally graduated to a stable state, and was released for all supported devices out there.

In addition to the enhancements that Mozilla packed inside the application when it pushed it out in beta, the final flavor for Firefox 23 for Android also features a series of stability enhancements, the available release notes unveil.

The browser arrives with switch-to-tab capabilities, allows users to select a default search engine, and also features basic support for subscribing to feeds (RSS/Atom) with long-tap in address bar, among other improvements.

The new app iteration also builds on the previously available Firefox 22, designed to provide the owners of smaller tablet PCs with the full tablet interface, while also aimed at delivering better WebGL rendering performance.
