Mozilla is getting closer to the release of a stable flavor of its Firefox 16 for Android mobile browser, and has made available for download a new version of the Beta iteration of the app.

No specific info on what was changed in the new update has been provided, yet those who have the browser installed on their devices should see a series of improvements to performance and overall experience.

Compared to the previous app releases, Firefox 16 Beta for Android brought along support for ARMv6-based devices, and Mozilla is encouraging owners of such Android phones to download and install the beta release to help it find and resolve issues.

Released in the Google Play Store on October 3rd, the latest beta of Firefox for Android is available for download from Softpedia as well, via this link.
