Some bug fixes have been implemented as well

Facebook application on Windows Phone platform is a bit behind in terms of functionality and visuals in comparison with its counterparts on Android and iOS.

The reasons are unknown, but one factor could be the fact that the Windows Phone application is now developed by Microsoft, not Facebook.

Since Microsoft is developing Facebook for Windows Phone, those who are using Microsoft's mobile platform should expect frequent updates for this application.

On that note, the Redmond-based company has just delivered a new version of Facebook on Windows Phone Store. Unfortunately, this is just a small update that brings improvements and bug fixes.

In fact, according to the official changelog, the update is supposed to bring some resource management solutions. In addition, bug fixes have been implemented in the update too, but no extra details on any of them have been offered yet.

We expect more updates for Facebook to arrive on Windows Phone in the coming months, especially that Microsoft is now working to bring the application on par with Windows 10's requirements.

You can now download Facebook for Windows Phone 8.3.6.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
