The new app release brings along refreshed icons, together with enhanced birthday alerts, and in-app Facebook Event support.
The new icons look better than before and provide a personalized touch to the application by replacing the profile icon with the user’s most current Facebook profile picture.
Moreover, Facebook for BlackBerry v3.2 enables users to easily integrate birthdays of Facebook friends into the BlackBerry device calendar. Thus, users will receive notifications without even opening the Facebook application.
And with the enhanced Facebook Event support in the new app release, users are capable of viewing information about an event, post a message to the event’s wall, and do more straight from their BlackBerry smartphone.
