14 DAY TRIAL // Facebook has just released version 5 of its Android client on Google Play Store. We have been able to confirm the latest update provided to Android users brings only minor changes.
Although developers did not offer an official changelog for this particular update, we've been able to learn what exactly the latest version of Facebook brings.
Well, according to Facebook, “the 5.0.0.26.31 update was a hot fix for an issue that some testers were experiencing.” Unfortunately, no other details have been provided, but developers confirmed they will soon push version 6.0 onto Google Play, so stay tuned for that.
You can now download Facebook for Android 5.0.0.26.31 for free via Google Play store. Keep in mind the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
