Facebook Messenger for Android Update Allows Users to Send Voice Messages

Facebook has just announced that a new version of its Messenger application for Android devices is now available for download on Google Play Store.

With more than 50 million downloads, Facebook Messenger for Android is one of the most popular applications available on Google's app store.

The latest version promises to bring even more features meant to improve users' overall experience. According to developers, the newest iteration of Facebook Messenger allows users to send voice messages.

Other improvements and bug fixes have been included in the update as well, though Facebook has yet to offer any additional details on this one.

Facebook Messenger 2.2.4 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
