If there are still any Android users who keep Facebook’s Slingshot installed on their devices, then they will be very pleased to know that developers have finally released a much better version of the application.

After the not-so-positive feedback Facebook received soon after releasing Slingshot 1.0 in the Google Play Store, the team promised it would take to heart all the constructive criticism and return to the drawing board in order to improve user experience.

Although not many new features have been included in version 2.0, the existent ones have been drastically improved. As per the developers’ statement, Slingshot users will be able to shoot and share moments much faster than before.

New filters, drawings and emojis have been added as well, along with the option to reply to any shot with a private photo or video reaction. Lots of other under-the-hood improvements have been implemented to make Slingshot faster, developers confirmed.

If you feel tempted to try the application once again, you can now download Slingshot for Android 2.0 for free via Google Play store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.

iOS users will be happy to know that the new version of Slingshot is available on their favorite platform as well.
