An updated flavor of the Facebook Home application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, providing users with a series of enhancements to the lock screen.

Following the update, users will be able to swipe down to unlock their devices, while also having the possibility to choose from new photo categories to customize their wallpaper.

Moreover, the new app iteration enables them to view the time, weather, and notifications on the lock screen, and to swipe to browse photos and posts displayed there. There is also a shortcut to Cover Feed on the launcher added with the new application release, the available changelog unveils.

Users who own devices compatible with Facebook Home will have to update the Facebook application as well in order to enjoy the latest enhancements included in Home.
