14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Microsoft has made available for download an updated flavor of the Facebook application for Windows Phone devices, namely version 8.3.1.0.
According to the official changelog attached to the new application iteration, Microsoft has packed it with all of the latest features included in the beta release.
Thus, those who will download it will receive an updated design, along with a variety of performance improvements, which should result in a much better overall experience for its users.
Moreover, the new app iteration arrives on handsets with video upload capabilities, as well as with Messenger support, it seems. A post detail page was also included in the update.
The new Facebook application was made available for download with support for all devices running under Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
However, while owners of Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones will see it as version 8.3.1.0, those with Windows Phone 7.x handsets will receive it as version 5.3.1.0.
The same as before, the mobile application will allow users to easily stay in touch with their friends over the popular social network. They will also enjoy notifications, the possibility to post status updates, video news feeds, and do more.
