Facebook is not among the popular applications for Windows Phone devices, but Microsoft continues to bring improvements and new features through updates.

Today, a new version of Facebook for Windows Phone devices has been uploaded in Marketplace, which promises to add some of the most frequently requested features.

For example, the latest version of the application allows users to ‘like’ comments and offers threaded messaging, including group messaging, in Metro style form. In addition, tagging friends and locations in posts in the ‘with’ and ‘at’ format is possible as well.

Other highlights of the update include: delete posts and comments via long press context menu; active links in posts; updates to photo comments and likes pages.

The latest Facebook 2.5 for Windows Phone is now available as a free download in the Marketplace.
