14 DAY TRIAL // An updated flavor of the F-Secure Safe Browser application is available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices, namely version 1.2.200.509.
The mobile browser was pushed to the platform so as to enable users to enjoy safe Internet browsing through automatic block of malicious sites.
The application takes advantage of F-Secure’s 24/7 cloud-based security service, which ensures that users are protected at all times. F-Secure Safe Browser can also be set as the default Internet navigation software for the Kid’s Corner, so that additional security is in place.
“So sites that try to send you malicious files or steal personal info like your banking credentials will be identified and blocked,” the app’s description reads.
Unfortunately, no specific info on the changes included in the new app release has been provided, though users should expect fixes and small improvements.
