We have already had the chance to have a look at benchmarks performed on the quad-core Snapdragon 600 flavor of the GALAXY S 4, but little was actually known on the performance capabilities of the 8-core Exynos 5 Octa flavor of the smartphone until now.

However, courtesy of tests performed by the guys over at SamMobile, we can now learn more on what this version of the device can deliver, and the results appear impressive.

The news site claims that the tests were performed on a GT-I9500 model with the latest firmware on top, and that it actually managed to outperform all other Android handsets in these tests, the same as the Snapdragon 600 flavor managed to do.

For example, the handset scored 27417 points in Antutu, while reaching 12726 in the Quadrant benchmark.
