Nokia’s Lumia devices

can already provide users with a series of exclusive features and apps, but it seems that the company is also looking into delivering more of them to users.

The Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) app that has just landed in Nokia Collection in the Windows Phone Store is one of them, targeted mainly at users in Australia, though available worldwide.

The app was designed to alert users on the latest news, to deliver them straight to the phone’s screen, and also to offer info on local and world weather forecast.

Furthermore, it comes with support for Live Tiles, where latest news will be shown, and it will also enable users to customize tiles for news categories within the app.

On Nokia’s Windows Phone 8-based Lumia devices, the app will also display news and images on the lockscreen. The app can be downloaded via this link (works only on the phone).
