RIM is hardly known for creating luxury phones, and even after the Canadian company launched Porsche Design BlackBerry P'9981, we thought this will be a one time project.

However, it looks like RIM is trying to get into rich people's pockets with yet another exclusive luxury phone. This time it's a limited edition BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone, which was snagged by Harrods.

Aside from the fact that it comes in a big wooden box and features a Swarovski case, we're not sure what other new things the smartphone brings. This is an exclusive, so it's only available at Harrods, but there are no details on it pricing options yet.

The original BlackBerry Bold 9900 is equipped with a 1.2 GHz single core processor, 8GB of internal memory, 768 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Unfortunately, there's no telling if RIM tweaked anything within the original phone's hardware configuration.
