Evernote has just released a major update for its Android application aimed at gastronomy fans, Evernote Food. The new version promises even more recipes and a completely redesigned user interface.

According to developers, there are now thousands of recipes waiting to be explored, including recipes from international partners such as Japan (Rakuten, EC Biglobe, Excite, Gurunavi), China (Douguo), Taiwan (iCook), and Korea (Rimi).

There’s also a new My Cookbook feature that allows users to browse recipes clipped in Evernote Food and collected in the Evernote account. Users can also manually add recipes from Evernote to Evernote Food's My Cookbook section using a specified notebook or tag.

Evernote Food 2.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
