The new version features Post-it Note Camera support

The most popular note-taking application for mobile devices has just received an important update on the Windows Phone platform, which brings new features and improvements.

According to the official changelog, the latest version of Evernote for Windows Phone features Post-it Note Camera. The new feature allows users to snap a photo of a Post-it Note to digitize and enhance the handwritten to-dos and ideas.

In addition, users will be able to automatically assign notebooks, tags and Reminders to different colors of Post-it Notes.

The option to add multiple Post-it Note snapshots to a single note and the ability to search through handwritten text in images have been included as well.

You can now download Evernote for Windows Phone 4.2.0.1108 for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
