The smartphone will soon be available for purchase via major retailers

Xolo Q610s is one of the cheapest Android smartphones available in India and comes with the latest version of the operating system and a decent processor inside.

Recently launched in the country by Xolo, the Q610s will soon be available for purchase via major Indian retailers for only Rs 7,499 outright, which is about $125 or €95.

There are no details on when exactly the phone will go on sale, but it should not take too long for Xolo to make it available, so stay tuned for more on this one.

Spec-wise, Xolo Q610s ships with KitKat platform onboard and a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor inside. The smartphone also packs a Mali-400 MP2 graphics processing unit clocked at 416MHz and 1GB of RAM.

Even though it features only 8GB of internal memory, Xolo has confirmed that its Q610s affordable handset will come with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Xolo Q610s sports a decent 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution, as well as a 1700mAh battery, which should provide up to 430 hours of standby time or up to 19 hours of talk time.

There's also a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, that goes along with a secondary VGA camera in the front for video calls.

Speaking of which, Xolo Q610s offers 3G HSPA+ connectivity, as well as dual-SIM capability, Bluetooth,Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS support.
