The handset runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Mobile phone maker Alcatel has made available for purchase in India yet another affordable Android-based smartphone, namely the OT 5020E, which runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, in addition to the OT 4005D and OT 4010E that we reported on recently.

This handset is currently listed at Flipkart with a price tag of INR 7,499 ($140 / €105) attached to it, AndroidOS notes.

For this amount of money, users will grab a device that sports a 4-inch capacitive display capable of a WVGA resolution, along with a 1GHz dual-core processor inside, 512MB RAM, and 1.4GB of internal memory.

Furthermore, the Android-based handset sports a 1,500 mAh battery inside, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, front camera for making video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, SRS Surround Sound, and 3G connectivity.
