A new flavor of the popular Dropbox application is now available for download for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, namely version 2.3.2.
Pushed to handsets roughly two weeks after the previous 2.3.1 iteration, the new app release brings along various bug fixes and performance improvements, the release notes unveil.
Furthermore, the application also allows users to sort files by date modified.
The Android client will provide users with fast access to the files they have uploaded to their Dropbox account, while also enabling easy sharing of content with friends and family. The app supports all kinds of files, including email attachments, which can be saved straight to Dropbox.
Given that it syncs with the Dropbox server, the app will also show files that have been uploaded from a computer or through the Dropbox website.
