The new version does not come with an official changelog

Good news for YouTube addicts, as Google has just released a new version in Play Store. Unfortunately, no official changelog is attached to it, so there's no telling what exactly the developers have added via this update.

This is the second update for the Android version of YouTube, which Google pushes live in less than two weeks. The previous update was a major one, though the incremental in version number did not recommend it for such an achievement.

YouTube 5.6.36 is likely to come with a handful of bug fixes and probably some improvements, though new features might be included as well.

Sadly, without an official changelog yet available, it is hard to tell for sure what's new and whether or not the application's overall performance has been improved.

Given the fact that most (if not all) Android smartphones come with YouTube application pre-installed, users should be notified of the update as soon as it becomes available.

Keep in mind though that this is a staged rollout, which means that the latest version of YouTube might not be available in all countries at the same time.

You can now download YouTube for Android 5.6.36 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
