A new flavor of the Yahoo! Mail application is now available for download for the owners of Android devices, namely version 2.5.1.

The new app release brings along a series of enhancements and fixes, including one for the zoom on older devices, or another for the message list turning purple on some devices. Various crashes reported by consumers were also resolved in this release, it seems.

Additionally, the new app flavor changes the manner in which the messages in outbox are being handled, so as to ensure they don't get stuck.

Following the update, users will also see that search results will update when changing filters, and that forwarded messages no longer lose attachments. However, an issue with deleting messages is still present in the app, it seems.
