The new app iteration comes with various new features and enhancements

An updated flavor of the Xbox One SmartGlass Beta application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices out there, namely version 1.0.0.9.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Xbox One SmartGlass application was meant to provide users with a great companion app for their Xbox One consoles, and that the Beta version delivers new features before they arrive in the stable client.

The new update for the mobile client comes with the option to like a Game Clip, while also enabling users to like an item in the activity feed.

Moreover, Windows Phone users will be provided with the possibility to view items that have been bundled together, as well as items that have been shared to them from a message.

Additionally, the new app iteration comes with the option to purchase Xbox One games & add-ons, and delivers the possibility to browse for recent and popular games & add-ons.

Xbox One SmartGlass Beta 1.0.0.9 for Windows Phone also comes with a series of general stability and polish improvements, as well as with various bug fixes. According to the release notes, some of the newly introduced features might also require a console update.

Available for download with support for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices, the Xbox One SmartGlass Beta 1.0.0.9 application can be found in the Windows Phone Store.
