Microsoft is working hard on pushing out new updates to various applications it has released on Windows Phone devices, with the Xbox One SmartGlass beta client being one of those to have received a new flavor recently.

The mobile application (available in public beta for those interested in enjoying new features ahead of others) has reached version 1.0.0.3 now, though no specific info on the changes included has been provided.

Developed by Microsoft Studios, the software is compatible with devices running under Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 platform releases.

The app will allow users to browse OneGuide on their SmartGlass device, access rich details on their favorite shows, and to easily tune to a show from OneGuide in SmartGlass.

At the same time, the mobile application can show Favorites on the device, while also allowing users to add new TV channels to favorites, and it also enables them to change their HD/SD settings in the SmartGlass settings.

Given that this is still a beta app release, Windows Phone users should expect issues to appear when running it, including some with strings, and others with non-working buttons in the Cable/TV remote.

You can download Xbox One SmartGlass Beta 1.0.0.3 for Windows Phone from Softpedia today.
