The mobile client, aimed at providing users with an early look at new features and capabilities that will come their way in the final app iteration, has been updated with some appealing new options and improvements, the official release notes reveal.
According to Microsoft, the new software release will offer users the possibility of seing the Top Games in Profile and Popular Games in Friends.
On top of that, the release notes reveal that the app now offers Activity Feed Alerts and UI improvements.
For those out of the loop, we should note that the Xbox One SmartGlass application has been designed as the main Windows Phone companion for those who own an Xbox One console.
The software allows users to easily control their Xbox One from their smartphones, while also providing them with access to account info and settings, and more.
Xbox One SmartGlass Beta is compatible with all devices running under the Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 platform iterations, and can be downloaded for free from the official Windows Phone Store portal.
