14 DAY TRIAL // Nullsoft, creators of Winamp media player, have just updated their Android application with new features and bug fixes.
Aside from bumping Winamp to version 1.4.2, the update brings SHOUTcast album art support for Album Washer users, along with hardware acceleration support. Furthermore, developers added a request missing lyrics feature for all those who use Lyrics.
The latest update also fixes specific bugs that have been previously reported by Winamp users. These fixes are detailed below:
- SHOUTcast stability issues; - Maintain play position for podcasts; - Issue with search causing playback to stop; - Issue with Quit Winamp menu option.
Winamp 1.4.2 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
