14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most popular cross-platform messaging applications, WhatsApp has just been updated in BlackBerry World.
According to the developers, version 2.9.571 brings new emoticons and lots of stability and performance improvements, which have yet to be detailed.
However, the folks at WhatsApp made an error with this update and announced the application will be available for free for life.
This has been quickly fixed via a new update, which removes any mentions of WhatsApp for BlackBerry being available for free for life.
Other than that, WhatsApp version 2.9.653 does not bring anything new into the mix, aside from the changes already mentioned earlier.
WhatsApp 2.9.653 is now available as a free download via BlackBerry World and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 4.6 and up. Check it out here.
