Symbian is almost a dead platform, but some developers continue to update their applications and offer those who are still stuck in the past new features and improvements.

Thus, the folks at WhatsApp have just released a new version of their amazingly popular instant messaging application for Symbian smartphones.

The bad news is that developers have not offered any notes regarding the changes in this update, so we must assume that these changes are minor and not worth mentioning in an official changelog.

There’s good news as well. Symbian users who wish to be up to date with the latest versions of their favorite application can manually download WhatsApp Messenger 2.11.101 via Softpedia.

Currently, WhatsApp Messenger supports Symbian S60 3rd/5th Edition, Symbian^3, Symbian Anna and Symbian Belle, so make sure you download the correct version.
