Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices out there can now download and install a new iteration of the Vimeo application on their devices, namely version 2.2.0.0.

The new app release arrived in the Windows Phone Store a few days ago with no changelog attached, which suggests that it might include only a series of small enhancements inside.

However, the update builds on the previously available version 2.1.0.0 of the app, which brought along support for voice controls. Basically, the feature enables users to easily perform a search or pause your video in the application when needed, all by only using their voice.

The mobile client also enables users to easily share content, create live tiles from their videos or featured channels, easily upload clips in HD resolution, and more.

You can download Vimeo 2.2.0.0 for Windows Phone 8 from Softpedia today.
