Owners of Android-based devices can now enjoy a new flavor of the Ubuntu lockscreen application, namely version 1.2.1.1, which has been released with a series of bug fixes inside.

The new app iteration, designed to resolve issues that prevented the app to unlock, builds on the previously released update, which bought along support for 3 new languages.

The software also comes with the option not to lock the device while a call is in progress, and cannot be unlocked by notifications and recent apps when a security rule is set.

The Ubuntu lockscreen application features support for all Android 2.1 and newer devices, providing users with a taste of the elegance and innovative style that the Ubuntu Touch OS sports.

Users can also enjoy a variety of personalization options, including animations, locking timer, password security, support for notifications, and more.

The Ubuntu lockscreen can be downloaded from this page in the Google Play Store.
