The folks over at UCWeb have just released another major update for their most popular Android application, UC Browser HD. Aimed at Android tablets, the latest version of UC Browser brings lots of new features meant to improve users’ overall experience even further.

First of all, developers have confirmed that they have added gesture control, which will allow users to go forward and backward through webpages with just a swipe of their finger.

The latest version of UC Browser also features Cloud Sync. The new feature provides users with the option to sync bookmarks between multiple devices with the help of their Facebook, Google or UC accounts.

There’s also a new feature called Intelligent Text Zoom, allowing for automatic magnification of text on webpages with a text body, including news articles and forums. This will make these webpages much easier to read.

Developers have also added a built-in video player. Whenever the browser detects the videos on a webpage, it automatically activates this built-in video player that features gesture controls.

Last but not least, UCWeb has confirmed that it has made some under the hood changes, which should result in faster browsing and downloading. According to the developers, the page loading and downloading speeds have been made even faster thanks to the latest tweaks included in the update.

New users can now download UC Browser HD for Android 3.0.0.357 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.3 and up, but it works best on larger screens (tablets).
