An updated flavor of the SuperTube application is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry 10 smartphones out there, namely version 2.4.0.4, with a nice range of enhancements packed inside.

The new app release was already published in the official BlackBerry World portal, yet no release notes were attached to it there. However, a recent article on CrackBerry is meant to shed some light on the matter, offering full details on the update.

For starters, we should note that the new SuperTube release comes with a new way in which it can list author and related videos in the video player. Moreover, it comes with new buttons for video info, as well as for related and author channel videos, so that users could easily choose what to play.

Moreover, the current video player list will not be modified, regardless of what video users will choose. To access categories, users should go to the bottom left menu now.

Following the update, users will also see that stars values for video have been replaced with green/red percentage bar for likes/dislikes, and that there is also the possibility to open author channel from comments.

Moreover, the unlisted videos are now available in user uploads (not private), and the recent featured, trending, top rated and top favorites YouTube specification now point to Most Popular.

The new app release also fixes some issues, such as listings of private playlists, problems in the dark UI theme, and request for author channel link within playlist, favorites and watch later lists.

You can download SuperTube 2.4.0.4 for BlackBerry 10 from Softpedia today.
