The new app release resolves some issues with the camera

A new flavor of the Photosynth application is now available for download for devices running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system, namely version 1.6, meant to deliver a series of bug fixes and other enhancements.

Following the update to the new app release, Windows Phone users should no longer see the camera viewfinder turn green after using Photosynth, the release notes for the software unveil.

Furthermore, the camera calibration logic has been updated as well, so as to properly preserve field of view information. Furthermore, the new app release comes with auto-cropping a flat panorama for sharing or saving to camera roll.
