A new flavor of the Opera Browser is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 15.0 (build 15.0.1162.60140).

The new app flavor, made available in a beta state a few weeks ago, brings along some appealing enhancements to devices running under Google’s mobile operating system, such as faster start times.

Based on Chromium 28, the new application release now comes with support for downloading videos, which can then be viewed in the browser, the available changelog unveils.

Opera 15 for Android will also enable users to select the destination folder for downloaded files, and will deliver better tab-UI animations.

At the same time, the browser comes with support for the opening of files from external SD cards, an "open in private tab" context menu, and a better cookie clearing mechanism, along with various bug fixes and improvements.
