The most popular Android application that allows users to make and receive free calls, LINE has just received a major update that brings lots of new features and improvements.

First of all, long-time users should notice that the quality of free voice calls has been improved. There’s also a new Theme Shop integrated, along with 2 new notification tones.

According to developers, the latest update should also add Delete Messages, Forward, and Save to Notes features. In addition, the most recently downloaded stickers now display first in the chat room sticker input display window.

A new error message that displays when you are not connected to a network has been added as well, along with lots of minor bug fixes and other small improvements.

Last but not least, developers confirmed the UI has been improved so that when users tap the Friends or Chats menu, it takes them to the top of the list.

You can now download LINE for Android 4.0.0 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
