Now with support for handwriting input for Hindi and Thai

An updated version of the Google Translate application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based smartphones and tablet PCs, namely version 2.8.

The new app release arrives on devices with support for handwriting input for Hindi and Thai, the available release notes unveil.

Furthermore, the application now offers camera input available for Afrikaans, Greek, Hebrew, and Serbian.

With this application loaded on their devices, users will be able to translate text between more than 70 languages, while also having the option to listen to the translation being spoken aloud.

Furthermore, the app comes with support for directly translating speech, handwriting, and text in photos, and with the option to save favorite translations and sync them across devices. It can also display dictionary results for single words or phrases.
