14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of the Google Maps application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 7.3.
The new application release arrives with an expanded notification, which includes info such as time to destination, distance to destination, and estimated arrival time now.
Furthermore, as Android Police notes, the new app iteration comes with more compact navigation cards and with discard confirmation for reviews.
Other additions to the new app version include Google Analytics for internal app usage reporting, along with a series of under-the-hood changes to offers and ads.
Additionally, the app comes with an undo button image, as well as with caching of maps.google.is URLs and with a fix for maps.google.ee handling.
Google Maps also received support for adding multiple destinations to a route, along with better search capabilities, a post on the Google Maps Blog reads.
