14 DAY TRIAL // Friendcaster application for Android devices is one of the most popular Facebook alternatives available on Google Play Store.
The latest version comes with support for tagging users in posts to other user walls, group walls, event walls, and page walls. In addition, devs added better support for accessibility options.
Some previously reported issues have been fixed as well, such as the event attendees not getting loaded and the error when adding friend. It is also worth mentioning that zipped posts are now handled in the widget properly.
Last but not least, developers included several other bug fixes and performance improvements in the update as well.
Friendcaster for Facebook 5.3 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
