The official Flipboard application for Android devices has just received a major update that brings a buck load of new features and lots of improvements.

With the latest version of Flipboard, users will be able to create their own Magazines. Although these self-created magazines are public, they can be made private anytime. Other changes included in this update are detailed below:

- Integrated Android share: add content from the Gallery & other apps to your magazines; - Bookmarklet to add items to your magazines from a browser; - Get notifications when people like, comment or subscribe to your magazines; - Share magazines via email or social networks; - Personalized recommendations for more to read; - Search is now front & center, with improved results.

Flipboard 2.0.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
