Mozilla has made available for download a new flavor of the Firefox for Android Beta browser, providing users with a better experience when compared to the one available in the latest beta version of the app.

The changelog Mozilla provides for the app shows that fixes for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean were included in the mix, along with a resolved issue for search suggestions when entering text into the Awesome Bar.

Firefox for Android 18 landed in the Beta channel earlier this week as the first mobile browser with Safe Browsing enabled, while also featuring Google Now search widget integration and an improved update experience.

For developers, the Beta version of the mobile browser brought along support for new DOM property window.devicePixelRatio, as well as implemented CSS3 Flexbox and support for @supports.

The new Firefox for Android 18 Beta 2 can be found on Softpedia on this page.
