A new flavor of Firefox for Android is now available for download in the beta channel, namely Firefox 16 Beta 2, with support for all devices running under Android 2.2 or newer.

The new app release comes with a series of improvements over the previously made available Firefox 16 Beta, as well as with all the features included in that app iteration.

Mozilla packed the beta flavor of Firefox 16 for Android with a new Reader Mode for easy reading, as well as with the possibility to easily share tabs with desktop/mobile devices using sync.

The app was also released with enhanced Java responsiveness, as well as with unprefixed CSS3 Animations, Transitions, Transforms and Gradients, the release notes available in the Google Play Store unveil.
