The update is likely to bring more bug fixes and tweaks

Mozilla has just released the seventh beta version of Firefox on Google Play. As is happened with previous iterations, there is no official changelog available, so we must assume it brings minor improvements.

Firefox for Android received a major update a few weeks ago, which added support for H.264/AAC/MP3 hardware decoders for devices powered by Android Honeycomb and Gingerbread.

The same update lowered the system requirements to run Firefox for Android from 512MB of RAM to 384MB of RAM, and QVGA displays.

Sadly, we’re not sure what’s new in the seventh beta of Firefox, but users can try it for themselves and hope for a much smoother overall browsing experience.

Firefox 20 Beta 7 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
