Dolphin Browser, the team behind one of the most popular mobile browsers for Android devices, has just released a new version of the application.

Dolphin Browser HD 8.0 received major visual improvements, including new Dolphin Sonar and Gesture interface, design, along with easier access to help menu.

Moreover, the menu bar has been redesigned as well to allow easier access to most commands without having to leave the home screen. The Add-on Sidebar now displays both add-on icons and names.

There’s also a new context menu and long press menu for smoother and more efficient Web browsing. Last but not least, Dolphin further included some stability and performance improvements that haven’t been detailed.

Dolphin Browser HD 8.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0.1 and up.
