One of the mobile phones that should arrive on shelves at Verizon Wireless before the end of this year appears to have just made an appearance online in the form of DROID Turbo.

The handset appears to be made by Motorola, but should be different from the previously spotted Moto X+1 and Moto G2.

Screenshots that allegedly reveal the phone’s hardware specifications have emerged online on Android Authority, confirming that this unannounced smartphone should prove a powerhouse when made available (provided, of course, that the info is accurate).

Thus, we might see Motorola and Verizon announcing the new device with a 2.65GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, which should result in great performance capabilities.

The phone appears to feature a 4.59-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution at a 360 x 640 DPI, and should sport 32GB of internal memory.

Moreover, it is said to include a 20-megapixel rear camera, complemented by a 2MP front camera for making video calls. DROID Turbo should run under the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS right from the start.

The smartphone sports the model number XT1254, and is expected to turn out to be Verizon’s Droid RAZR device of the year, according to the news site. Unfortunately, no specific info on when the handset might go official has been provided as of now.
